A. Going as fast as you can.

A. Anything by the 'Doors' driving on the road to my home.

A. "Mothership". The latest compilation album by Led Zeppelin - the legendary band that I finally got to see at the "O2".
Q. What is your favourite car?
A. The McLaren F1 Supercar put the biggest smile on my face. Only 107 have ever been produced, it has a top speed of 242mph and in one I hold the official lap record for a UK circuit in a production car at an average of 195.3mph.
Q. Who's your boyhood hero?
Jim Clark, the Scottish Grand Prix star and greatest driver ever! He won two world championships and also the Indianapolis 500 once back in the 60s.
Q. What's the best movie driving scene?
A. It’s in the 1971 film the Burglars (also known as Le Casse). It has the wildest, no tricks, genuine stunt driving chase ever made.
Q. What car would you most like to smash up?
A. Every G Whiz electric car ever made - they are a danger to anyone who thinks it's a clever idea to get in one.
Q. What's been your biggest disappointment?
A. Failing to qualify for the Monaco Grand Prix.
Q. What’s more important, style on the outside or performance under the bonnet?
A.

A. Only for racing!
