A heart-warming story of love in the snow

AQA 63336 February winner

Oliver writes: "A while back, I met this girl over the internet and we clicked ('scuse the pun!) straight away. We exchanged instant messaging addresses and got talking. I found out she lived in Sweden, but her parents were Sri Lankan. We sent each other photos and just got to know each other a little more. I decided that I wanted to meet up with her as we both felt an attraction for each other, but we hadn't the faintest clue how. Now, here's where AQA comes in. AQA advised me on the cheapest way to get to Sweden on a students budget. So, with that information, I booked a trip out there. I had to take my parents (as this was after all an internet relationship) so they helped towards the cost. I went there a couple of weeks ago and met up with her.

She was as beautiful as I'd thought. That week was the best week of my life so far, and I've decided that she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. And it's all thanks to AQA!"

Good luck Oliver, £100 is on its way.

Virtual love made a reality thanks to AQA

Runners up Thomas and Michaela get a copy of the AQA book:

Thomas, a carvery, Wimpy and Shevchenko

Thomas writes: "On Sunday morning 5 friends and I were running late for the Chelsea vs. Forest game which we had tickets for, with a sit down carvery meal before hand.  We were starting to worry that we might not make it in time for the carvery so I asked AQA if we would make it, AQA said that we would make it and the meal would taste better for having worked to get there in time.

Once at Stamford Bridge we tucked into what I could only describe as the tastiest carvery I have ever tasted.  At this point my friends and I had gotten into a discussion on what the name of Popeye's friend who ate all the burgers was in the cartoon.  We couldn't for the life of us work this out so thought we would ask AQA and also asked who the first goal scorer would be.  AQA came back with 'Wimpy' which we decided was Popeye's mates name and 'Shevchenko' for the first goal scorer so I put a bet on Shevchenko to score first.

AQA picked Shevchenko

Shevchenko proceeded to score first and all of us collected our winnings after the game and walked to Putney for a few beers to finish off the day.  We got bored of beers and decided to ask AQA which cocktails to order, these included a Tom Collins, Tequila Sunrise and a mojito, all of which rounded the day of perfectly.

Thank you AQA from me and my 5 mates."

Michaela and her coursework

Michaela writes in: "Me and my friend were doing our A-level coursework and couldn't find the answers to our questions anywhere. So we simply texted AQA for the answers and hoped for the best. When we handed in our coursework our teacher was overly excited and declared in front of the whole class that we had done the best project and a couple of months later we both happily received A's!"

Well done Michaela, we're sure most of the hard work was yours, but glad to have helped you out.
