AQA 63336 launches the aFone
improving human intelligence - new concept in mobile phones provides instant answers
London, UK - 30 March 2007 - IssueBits Ltd, the company behind the AQA 63336 (Any Question Answered) text service, is launching a new concept in mobile phones: the 'aFone'.
The aFone (the 'a' stands for 'answer') is a new type of super-intelligent device which can literally answer any question (just like the guide in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) whilst also doubling as a mobile phone.
Users can ask any question they want by just speaking the question or by writing it on the touch screen and they will get the correct answer instantly presented to them on the aFone's screen.
The aFone is the result of 3 years research and development by the companys 650 experts, led by ex-Symbian CEO Colly Myers. It can answer any question and solve any problem. In tests, the device has an apparent IQ of 247 and it has been tested with over 5 million questions and got every single one right. |

"People want answers from their phone, not the internet," commented Colly Myers. "The aFone creates intelligence within the phone by using the network to access the AQA service; ultimately improving the intelligence of aFone users. The first device of its type to ship anywhere in the world, the aFone provides the correct answer to any question."
aFone instant answers
The instant answers are provided through the AQA patent-pending auto-answering system. A vast improvement on out-dated internet search technologies, AQA correctly interprets any question entered using advanced algorithms developed from 3 years of observing human research techniques, instantly returning the correct answer instead of pages of redundant information.
aFone applications
Other key applications that are shipped as standard in the aFone:
aContact™: type any person's name in, and you'll instantly get up to date contact information, and their location, together with what they are currently doing.
aImage™: will recognise and automatically label 99.8% of inanimate and live objects in images, ensuring users will never have to label a photo or video again.
aFone cost and availability
Retailing at £1 inc VAT, the consumer version of the aFone will be marketed and sold exclusively by premium text message on AQA's current premium text number 63336 from 1st April 2007. Available on all UK networks, the cost of the handset has been subsidised through licensing deals with local and national government education, policy and security agencies.
Customers wishing to test the aFone's capabilities can try the AQA system for free and ask any question, for instance 'What's today's date?' by visiting www.63336.com/afone.htm
